Sectionals still in play
Region Roundball Review

Forget about pinning down a game plan for regional play for many teams around the state. They're still working on game plans against sectional final opponents they will meet tonight... if the weather cooperates, that is. Finals at 11 sectional sites -- which should have been played five days ago -- have been postponed several times and will finally be played this evening.

Despite the delays, the IHSAA announced that as of today all regional games are scheduled to be played this Saturday, Feb. 20, at 16 sites in the four classes with two semifinal games early in the day followed by a championship game that evening. The survivors will move on to the semi-state round for a single game on Saturday, Feb. 27, with the winners earning a spot in the March 6 state finals at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne.

All four 2009 defending state champs -- Ben Davis (4A), Fort Wayne Elmhurst (3A), Heritage Christian (2A) and Fort Wayne Canterbury (A) -- won their respective sectionals on Saturday.

PDF regional brackets as of today: 4A | 3A | 2A | 1A
