Canterbury 34, Rivet 33 at the half.
Great crowd here today for Rivet, all in purple and gold. Still getting settled into my one-woman coverage team here. So bear with me.
This game has been quite good so far, toe-to-toe with some good scoring by both teams. In the first quarter, Rivet was shooting over 53% from the field, 67% from behind the arc. They are getting balanced scoring from a lot of players and have gone ten deep.
Canterbury is relying heavily on Tabitha Gerardot, Cassie Krieger (right) and Megan Pedro throughout the first half. They combined for 26 of their 34 points in the half. The Cavaliers have gone only seven deep in the first half.
